For a wage-and-hour matter, the most useful first conversation is a short one: what the claims are, what data exists, and what the deadline is. From there it is usually clear within a call whether the records can carry the analysis you need.

For financial systems or fractional finance work, a description of the current setup and what is breaking is enough to start.

Most inquiries get a reply within one business day. If you are working against a filing deadline, say so and it will be prioritized.
